Conference Highlights

The European Conference on Wireless Technology (ECWT) will be held from 3 to 5 October 2005 in Paris, France. This conference is a forum for the presentation and discussion of new developments in the field of wireless communication technologies. It encompasses system design, antennas, propagation, analogue and digital signal processing techniques and high frequency circuits for wireless systems. ECWT also includes applicationspecific integrated circuits and modules. Accurate modelling of systems, components and the development of new techniques and applications are key to the rapid and effective deployment of new wireless products and systems. The technical challenges of higher data rates and improved spectral efficiency must be met whilst simultaneously satisfying the commercial challenges of low cost and high volume production.

This conference is an integral part of European Microwave Week. Accordingly, along with the key areas of wireless activity, the microwave aspects of wireless communication will be emphasised, and there will be common sessions covering subjects of mutual interest.

The ECWT is a conference co-sponsored by EuMA and IEEE MTT-Society.
