35th European Microwave Conference
4-6 October 2005
The 35th European Microwave Conference (EuMC) that will be held in Paris, France, from 4 to 6 October, is the core of European Microwave Week 2005, the largest event in Europe dedicated to microwave electronics.
The European Microwave Conference is the major conference in this field in Europe. Therefore, it is the perfect event to keep up to date with recent achievements in the RF, microwave and millimetre-wave domain. The EuMC brings together international experts in a wide variety of specialities, attracting delegates with academic and industrial backgrounds.
Over 3 days and with more than 400 selected papers in about 55 oral and poster sessions, it represents an exciting forum for the presentation and discussion of the most recent advances in the microwave area.
A broad range of high frequency related topics, from materials and technologies to integrated circuits, systems and applications will be addressed in all their aspects: theory, simulation, design and measurement. Examples include the latest developments for passive components, modelling and design of high frequency and high data rate photonics, highly stable and noiseless microwave and millimetre-wave sources, new linearisation techniques and the impact of new packaging technologies on developing applications. Special emphasis will be placed on emerging technologies like MEMS, System-In-Package and System-On-Chip. The scope also includes electromagnetic field theory, theoretical and experimental developments in wave propagation and antenna systems, and advanced simulation techniques.
Submission of Final Papers
Final Papers should be submitted by uploading a pdf-file (portable document format) to the EuMW2005 website www.eumw.net. See instructions at the paper submission web page.
NOTE: The Deadline for Submission of Final Papers was June 24th.
Paper Submissions are No Longer Being Accepted.
Submission of expanded papers to a Special Issue of the IEEE MTT Transactions
Authors of accepted papers for EuMC2005 are encouraged to submit an expanded version of their EuMC2005 conference papers to a Special Issue of the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, to be published in July 2006. Note that this expanded version should be distinct from the EuMC conference paper with at least a 60% expansion and a minimum of repeated material. Reference should be made to the EuMC paper. Submissions should be sent to TMTTeditor@ieee.org.
Include as attachments to your submission for the Special Issue:
- The manuscript being submitted to the Special Issue as a PDF file with the file name paper.pdf and
- The final version of the EuMC paper as a PDF file with the name EuMC_paper_####.pdf. The number (####) in this name should be the same as the reference number of the conference paper in the manuscript.
You must reference your EuMC submission in your expanded manuscript. The body of the submission to the Special Issue must have the title of the paper and the names of all authors. Submissions must be received by Friday, October 1, 2005, and cannot be updated.
You may also consult www.mtt.org/publications/index.htm for further details.
